About me
My name is Pavel Macura,
I am an Electrical Engineer. I graduated from Czech Technical
University (CVUT) Prague in 1979 in the field of Electro-Acoustics
and Electrical Circuits. I worked as a Design Engineer and
Consultant for whole of my professional life, in various branches
like high power circuit breaker testing, fiber optic analog
signal transmission, isolation amplifiers, plasma spraying
systems. Audio has always been my hobby since I was about 14
years old, but never became my full time job or main source of
income. Now I am semi-retired, still doing some consultations on
plasma spraying systems and time after time also in audio. This
web page shows some of my audio DIY designs, components of my
home audio system, together with some theory and measurements.
